Module 2 looks at the stage of the consultation where the doctor finds out more about the patient's problem. This involves asking the patient about their beliefs, concerns and expectations regarding the problem and what can be done about it, as well as taking a history.

practice exercises introduce useful language and skills. Some exercises contain video and audio and may take time to download if you have a dial-up internet connection. There are also 'mini-role play' tasks to enable you to practise language more freely.
